PD Weekend Getaway

What a totally bliss weekend it was. I really able to relax and enjoy what I love best and that is laze around.

130914, Saturday - Woke up super early to prepare for my trip. I need to cook for my breakfast and lunch also to double check luggage. I've discussed the menu with my sister the night before. Let me share with you the menu.

After cooking and packing, I realized that as if I'm a mother who pack lunch box for my children camping. Seriously, the food was enough till our dinner. Then this thought came to me "whoever lives with me must be nice because they will never starve to death". Feel proud of myself.

We started our journey at 1 pm and got stuck after Sg Besi Tol. The traffic was terrible even though it moves slow because the journey from my place to Port Dickson took 3 hours. 3 hours is half way to Johor Bahru. We arrived at 4 pm and check in to Avillion Admiral Cove. Please don't be confuse between Avillion Port Dickson and Avillion Admiral Cove. It located 5 km away from each other. If you use the route to the Muzium Tentera, you will end at the traffic light where by to the right (Petronas Petrol Station) is where Avillion PD is located while to the left is Avillion Admiral Cove (route to the hospital/Teluk Kemang). Got a room and unpack our luggage. The room was comfortable and big. I seriously wanna lock up myself in the room.

First thing that we did were checking out the hotel area especially the pool and beach.

The next day, I got up quite early for breakfast. (Wow, I wake up late on my working days but early for holidays. Amazing!) Breakfast here we come~

Breakfast was nice and full. Even though they didn't offer a wide variety of food but the food is enough to fill in my stomach and the taste is good. Next, to the beach. This is the first time when I saw a pool I didn't even bother to swimming.

Later in the evening thought wanna stroll down the beach in Teluk Kemang but then the traffic was OMG!!!! seriously the road to Teluk Kemang was closed and the cars were not moving at all. So I took a U-Turn and went the other side but still end up stuck in traffic. As a result, we stopped at a row of shop and bought pisang goreng, coconut drinks and some snacks. We even went back to the hotel and hangout by the beach.

Sunset time! It was beautiful and at that moment I thought won't it be nice if I have my lover to watch it with me. Unfortunately it's not. Anyway the next day, we just ate breakfast and packed out stuff to checked out. Thank god the road is not pack with cars on that day. Able to reach my home in one hour time. Hoping for another weekend getaway again. Will update u guys again. Have fun~

I'm currently fall in love from head to toe over Vibe's songs. I hope you guys will love it too.

Long Lost Update

Morning peeps! It has been a long time I didn't update my blog. I was super busy with works. Out of blue, I miss writing blog and updating my not so interesting life. Well better get started.

Ramadhan went quite well for me except a few days before Syawal my period came. So early Syawal for me. Amazingly how my days went so calm and well while I'm fasting. This year Syawal was not like any other years. My family went to Kota Kinabalu, Sabah for a holiday while me stayed behind. Being that I'll be alone for Syawal, I decided to go to Sunway Lagoon on the first day of Syawal which cost me RM90 for the entrance. Nothing much different as most of the rides was in renovation. I went with Anna and her brother. The one thing that I really want to tried was the Haunted House. Super long 20 minutes inside that house. The theme was SCREAM PARK. A whole lots of scream came out from Anna's mouth. She kept screaming and I kept laughing at her. That day ends with us eating at Street Cafe. Went back home and totally flat out of battery.

The next day we headed to Mid Valley for Korean Food Fair. They sold lots of cooked food rather than variety of dry food. This was the first time I thought KFF is boring. The only thing that I remembered was a guy at the Kimchi stall said I'm pretty. Maybe he should wear another pair of glass or buy a new one.

After visiting all the stalls we headed home. The rest of the day me and Anna spent at my home watching movies till the following days. And yeah we did watched Percy Jackson in 3D.

The month of August too was meaningful for me as I just bought my new phone Samsung Galaxy Note 2 in grey/black after longing for it. My Xperia phone was stolen, so I decided to bought it a little bit earlier. Spend most of my money on the phone cover. Oh gosh crave over phone cover is like totally new for me. I like the 3D effects on the back of the cover and also ORANGE is a must. I even bought MINIONS not one but two. All this I'll cherish it with my life.

Lately I have this habit of keeping my food galore update. Either I cooked it or I ate outside I will snap picture of my food and share it with others. Am I promoting to people? Yes. Most of the food is affordable so I think everyone can have a bite if they want to.

My craze over Rice ball never ends. It's just a simple empty rice ball but i love the taste of it.

How to make rice ball? Let me share it with you.

You need LEFTOVER RICE, SEAWEEDS, SALT AND VINEGAR.

Mix the leftover rice with salt and vinegar according to your taste. For me, the sour and salty taste should be equal. You have a different types of seaweed available in the market. If you have the big square seaweed or the small packet seaweed, you need to slice it thinly or mince it. Then mix the rice and the seaweed equally. If you like a lots of seaweed you may do so. And that's it! You may eat it.

The latest snack that I cooked was Sweet Corn Pancakes. It was raining on that day and I feel like eating something. I saw frozen corn in the freezer. I took it out and wash it. Then I blend it roughly so that when I eat I can still taste the corn bits.

Add an adequate of flour, corn starch, salt and water. The batter must be thick and don't pour to much water as it makes the batter more to liquid forms. As you can see in the picture, the corn is still visible.

Then, fry it on a flat pan. Flip it over to cook it evenly. It's up to you how cook you would like it to be. For me I prefer crispy.

Well that's it for my Long Lost Update. I'm going for a vacation coming this weekend. Will update on you guys regarding it. Au Revoir~
