Girls Trip Weekend Getaway

11052013 - A date that I will never forget. It supposed to be the best moment of my life but unfortunately it didn't. 12th May 2013, Asia Super Showcase brings AOA, SNSD & Shinhwa but for certain issues (politic problem at that moment) they have to postpone it to ensure people safety who will be going to the concert. Shinhwa Company did an annoucement said they are not going to join the concert. (crying like hell when I read this)

I have already booked a room at Doubletree by Hilton KL since it is one of the official sponsor. Even though Shinhwa did not make it, I still need to check in.

We checked in around 4pm. With our happy vibe, we went to the room on level 13th. OMG! Speechless! Not because of the room but the view. It was so perfect for stalking. Because our window are facing the swimming pool and it's a full view. I was hoping that Shinhwa will be there. Seriously, it was very hard for four us to accept the fact that they can't join the concert and the concert postpone. Back to the room, we were like kids jumping around and changing spots and pose for pictures.

Next up, lunch + dinner. Went out to Ampang Park for food hunting and found a nice spot. I can't remember the name of the restaurant but the price here affordable.

Done eating, we bought KFC for dinner and some other foods for the rest of our stay.

We spent our night at swimming pool for an hour more or less. We were really imagining things like if Shinhwa is here and swimming what would we actually do and there's a few guys swam around but we pretend like it was Shinhwa and their managers. (Silly us right?)

That night didn't end there, we went to our room and got ready for our play time. I brought "Soju & Cards" along with me. Having it in the hotel taste much more better than at club but drink it in Korea is much more nicer. It may be the same brand but the taste is not the same. We didn't drink it pure soju, we mix it with orange juice to make the bitter taste lesser. I really recommend Minute Maid orange juice.

Basically that's the end for day 1. The next day, we met Changjo at Koryowon, KLCC instead at the concert venue (still upset bout it). This is the start for me to get to know other changjo around Malaysia. One of them was my elementary schoolmate. Never thought we have the same interest but what the hell the more the merrier for Shinhwa. We start to chat and share stories on Shinhwa or any other interest. Wait, I think 99% is about Shinhwa. Now, I'll be promoting the food. Koryeowon was totally worth it. The food is really delicious and it really brings out the memories while I was in Korea. If you ask me about the price, some of you may say it is expensive and some may not. Price is RM30 and above but if you order the rice set it's worth it. Take a look at the picture below..

After all those chats and pictures taking, we head back to hotel.What did we do the rest of the evening? SLEEP. We woke up by the sound of Anna's hp ringing. I think if the phone wasn't ringing, we will be still in deep sleep. Woke up and again food!










We checked out on the next day. It was really a fun and awesome getaway for us. Since the Asia Super Showcase is postpone we hope to hear Shinhwa is still joining for the postpone date. Keep my finger cross tight!

130326 & 130327 Korea Trip 6th & 7th Day

6th day of the trip or shall I say the last day for us to walk or shop around in Seoul. Place that I really want to go is Trick Eye Museum located at Hongdae. How to get here? It's very easy. Stop at Hongdae Station and walk out exit 9. From there walk straight till you see TGI Friday. Turn left and walk straight up till you see a junction on the right in between Tony Moly & Holika Holika.Turn right and straight up, you will see Trick Eye Museum straight ahead.

I can't remember how much does it cost for the entrance. When I was there, the place is full with people even though it's not on weekend. So we went it and check out the place.

After we walk around the Trick Eye Museum, it's time for lunch. We were so hungry so we just check out place nearby. A few meter down the road there's a restaurant call Steak Kitchen. The food is not bad at all and the price too. I ate Fried Rice  and some eat steak or salad.

After lunch, we went back to Namdaemun Market to buy whatever stuff that we didn't managed to buy. That's basically end of day 6th.

 Our last day at Korea, we ate ttokbokki and ramen as our breakfast. Then we check out at 11am and while waiting for the airport transfer, we sat and drink CARAMEL MACCHIATO at Izzo Expresso Cafe.

Once we reached airport, I was like I don't want to go back. Really wish to stay here a little bit longer. We even said that we are going for holiday in Malaysia. "hahaha" So Farewell Korea!!!!

Today I'll be promoting Shinhwa Comeback Teaser. They were release their song on 16th May 2013 called This Love. They are so hot and yummy inside here "hahaha" Anyway, please support their comeback. If some you said that they are old, why don't they just quit already. They are doing it for their orange princess. We changjo will always want them, will always want to see them performing. So if you said they didn't win anything or what so ever, like I said they are doing this just for their princess. They had won all those awards so they don't need it anymore. They prefer to chase new goals not to stick at one.

130325 Sweet Korea Trip Day 5

Today's mission is to find what we've been searching on the fourth day that is Gyochon Chicken and Time Out Gelato. We went out late afternoon and heading to Gyochon Chicken after search on the net (naver map). The information that I had previously was stop at Apgujeong station, walk out exit 2 and straight up till you find Apgujeong 50길 but from the naver map, I can stop at Apgujeong Rodeo and walk a few minutes only.

 

Stop at Apgujeong Rodeo like the fourth day except for walk out exit 5. Just walk straight till and turn right into Apgujeong 50길and walk straight till the end. You will see Gyochon Chicken straight up on the left.

Next to Time Out Gelato you need to get back to Apgujeong station and out using exit 5. Straight ahead and first junction turn left. It's just next to you. After eating chicken, dessert is so good plus shopping at L'Occitane add the sweetness to it.

I even stop by at CLIO nearby the Gyochon Chicken. For people who searching for eye liner, really recommend it. It really stays for a long time and not even a smudge.If you like face mask, Etude face mask is really good and cheap too. In Malaysia they sell it one piece for RM7 but in Korea they sell it in 10 pieces or in my case 20 pieces for 10,000 won.

130324 Relax Korea Trip Day 4

 

It's only the fourth day yet we already slow down our itinerary. We were too tired to walk around so decided to lay back. Today is the day to see with my own eyes the SME, JYPE & CUBE building. These buildings are located in Apgujeong so Apgujeong station was the nearest and after that either you walk or take a bus but now since the new station is complete (Apgujeong Rodeo), it only takes a few minutes to walk to the buildings.

From Myungdong:-

Ride the train which heading to Chungmuro and stop at Dongdaemun History & Culture Park station and change to Line 2 which heading to Sindang and stop at Wangsimni. You need to change to Bundang Line and stop at Apgujeong Rodeo.

Walk out from exit 2 and walk down towards Galleria Department Store East and SM Entertainment building is 300 meters ahead but when I was there the building was in renovation and SHINee Dream Girl poster was covering the building.


Next, to JYPE building you just walk straight till you find Apgujeong 79길. Turn left on that road and walk straight ahead for about 20 - 30 minutes. You will find Dunkin Donuts on the right and JYPE on the left. If you straight up you'll see CUBE is on the right. It was Sunday so CUBE Cafe was closed.


After hanging out at Dunkin Donuts, we left for Gyochon Chicken which was endorsed by Shinhwa then dessert at Time Out Gelato which open by Park Yoochun but unfortunately we lost our way. From Apgujeong Rodeo station we went to Apgujeong station according to the info that I found but still we didn't managed to find it. What I found interesting is that their toilet is really bright and big in Apgujeong Rodeo station. I even took pictures.

We decided to went back and stop at Cold Stone Creamy. Seriously recommend it for people who love ice cream and it was way better than Baskin Robbin here in Malaysia even the price too.

Went back to Myungdong and had dinner with Seulgi. We were walking in circles since we have no idea where to eat. Thought of eating Jjamppong but not sure of the meat that they used so found a restaurant and eat simple things. After dinner, karaoke time which cost us 20,000 korean won for an hour. It's totally expensive but we had fun plus they gave us extra service time.

That's all for the fourth day trip. The next day, me and my sister search the naver how to go to Gyochon Chicken & Time Out. One more thing, Seo Ji Sub who is an actor (I'm Sorry I Love You) had opened a cafe name A Twosome 51K. I really want to visit his cafe which located in Chungdamdong but fortunately for me the cafe has one branch near my guesthouse. It's like any other coffee shop but the price range is slightly higher. For me, I prefer the cafe located in front of my guesthouse IZZO Cafe. "No Offense Seo Ji Sub"
